Prisonworld has a substantial Twitter presence and overall social media following. The attention garnered by celebrities are all part in parcel of an outreach extension done in Prisonworld Magazine’s 15 Minutes of Fame section.
Vivica Fox has been more than generous in responding to inmates’ mail and sending them autographed pictures. You can see in the Twitter exchange that she is a gracious and forgiving person and lives life with a nonjudgmental attitude. There are other celebrities which respond to the requests that Prisonworld Magazine presents to them and those that take on issues on the Prisonworld Radio Hour. The celebrity status of those who chose to respond only heightens the awareness of the Prisonworld mission. And to those, we give a big salute.
