Dawah International, LLC, a multimedia company is expanding its reach into television and has partner with the producers of The Bill Cunningham Show to seek out those who are in relationships with prisoners where their friends and families disapprove or have married someone in prison and their friends and families disapprove.
There is no other form of media that reaches the masses like television. There are no other experts better for this particular platform than owners, Rufus and Jenny Triplett.
“We are very excited about this opportunity. This comes at a very good time and place in our lives. Sometimes you put your heart and soul into everything and wonder if it’s worth it. Over the past five years we have motivated, educated and inspired thousands of inmates in order to help them better their lives. We have been contacted out of the blue by some very influential people. No, Oprah did not call…but New York did. This can be a great platform and provide lots of healing,” says Jenny.
Currently under the multimedia umbrella and sporting the Prisonworld brand is PrisonworldTV is looking to be an informative platform to help engage conversation and reduce recidivism. Education and conversation are key factors on resolving issues of conflict.
“I am such a behind the scenes kind of guy but I give great advice. Although I have never been to prison, I have several family members who have and know what it takes to heal wounds. The saying is that time heals all wounds but it takes more than time. Communication is hard. Forgiveness is hard. Understanding is hard. All of these things are required for resolve and it can happen,” says Rufus.
FYI - This is not a “my man has been wrongly convicted or Free My Man show.” If you know how to talk, you can say things without saying them.
If you or someone you know is in this situation please reach out to this CASTING CALL for The Bill Cunningham Show. The inmate can be male or female. The story must be true and serious.You may contact the producer directly with your story:

PETITION TO INCREASE FEDERAL GOOD TIME
We the people request the Members of the United States Senate and the United
States of House of Representatives to introduce and pass the following proposal, to wit:
A proposal to introduce a bill to retroactively Increase Good Time for federal offenders, to wit:
Title 18 U.S.C. A § 3624(b)(1) is amended as follows: by striking the number “54″ in the first sentence as it appears and inserting in lieu thereof:
Five days per month for sentences between six months and one year that the prisoner serves without bad behavior;
Ten days per month for sentences exceeding one year that the prisoner serves without bad behavior;
Meritorious good time limited to five days a months;
and in the same sentence, by striking “prisoner’s term of imprisonment” and inserting in lieu thereof “term of sentence imposed.” This Amendment is retroactive.[End].
I really don’t know what I’m suppose to put on here but here are some thoughts. I married my husband behind the walls. He had recieved a card from a mass Christmas Card Swap. Ihad no intentions of writing on any other level except one of hope and encouragement that the men and women behind the walls are not forgotten. A very sweet man at the wrong place and wrong time, as he was doing the wrong things to be there in the first place. God has saved him from his past, and now he looks forward to the life he will share with his family and now new family upon his release. This is a story of corruption but, we are past that, that is for the legal system to work out. He recieved a 45 year sentence, after a plea bargain of 10 years. My husband had been a witness again the prosecutting attorney’s son when he tried to run over a police officer. God will prevail, with truth and justice!
