I must send out my sincere apologies to all of those who have been visiting the blog site. I have been a little under the weather and if anyone knows anything about writing there is no worse feeling than to have ideas and cannot write them down. So what can you do when you are sick? I have been brainstorming on how to make the site more interesting. I have been able to surf the web in between sneezes. And while drinking tea and overdosing on sinus medication I have enjoyed hours and hours of You Tube. I must say that watching You Tube can be very addicting but it has given me an overwhelming amount of ideas. I am not 100% yet but building up to it. In the meantime, I will be venturing into some subjects other than the Question of the Week. What else can you do when you are sick? Well you can find everything wrong around your house that needs to be done. I think I started a mental list and it got to be soooo long that I never committed it to paper. After living in the same house for 15 years - brought brand new, and maintained wonderfully - you can still find little things here and there that needs to be done. Fortunately I have a husband who cares and listens -somewhat - to my concerns about the “oh so little” projects. If I can get my teenagers to pick up a broom and sweep the ceramic tile everyday, I feel I have accomplished much. What else can you do when you are sick? Well, I became acquainted with all of the channels that I never knew we had. I watched a Law & Order marathon (Criminal Intent). I love Law&Order, always have since the day it premiered, but there is something about that guy from Criminal Intent that I just truly enjoy. I also got more familiar with The Closer. I think that is a really cute show. I’ll try to catch it more often - maybe. Besides for getting rest, destroying a box of tissues, eating when you feel you can keep it down, and tossing and turning with night sweats, that’s about all I did while being sick.
