The biography book, The Vine of a Naked Child: Sacrifice Before The Storm, reveals the affects of child abuse, and shows the height of the psychological, emotional, and social impact, child abuse has, from childhood to adulthood, but at the end, points to a glimpse of hope. The book was released by Spiderwize.
“I wrote this book because most people do not like to talk about their abuse, due to shame, and then the guilt behind acting out by living a somewhat inappropriate lifestyle. But, it is not their fault,” Miss Moorman said. “Child abuse, whether it is sexual, physical, or mental, can destroy a person’s personality, and it may take them many years to recover, often having problems lasting into adulthood. However, I want people to know, in spite of the negative external influences, which appear to be beyond their control, there is a Greater One who loves them, unconditionally. The hope to this Greater One is dim, at first, but it gets brighter.”
The author was born in Marysville, Ohio, and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she still resides. God, family, and writing are her passion, and she has additional published works.
