CLIMBING OUT
Everyday always seems like it’s a sad day,
Women and men incarcerated, plus some in the grave.
Children missing they parents, and missing they children.
All of they life’s gone, and the judge the one who took it.
Thats messed up, cause they lived, and they gotta die in prison.
For everybody in the streets, you better stop and listen.
Take heed to what I’m saying, and go ahead and start climbing,
If you don’t know how to swim, then you know you gone be drowning.
Playing with fire will get you burnt, and turn you all to ashes,
It’s a dirty world we living in, and it’s a dirty game.
The streets out here in this world, will never be the same.
When you die ain’t no coming back, so live life to the fullest.
Get up out this dirty, dirty game, don’t many make it out.
You better gone and make a choice, and you better make it right.
