CREED
The Black Fraternal and Militia Unit is a sovereign in the prison community, abided in unity, peace and strength. Embedded in love, discipline and loyalty; grounded in wisdom, knowledge and understanding; assembled with mutual interest and mutual respect to raise the conscious in the hearts and minds of black men and women, young and old, in the pursuit for freedom, justice and equality in the struggle. We vow obedience to the Fraternity, to conduct ourselves courageously both in character and in conduct with sincere duties and obligations, offering peaceful sacrifices therein with constant devotion, brotherly love, devout obedience and charity. This will sustain a people in the face of adversity to endure in the eye of the storm and rise up from the belly of oppression with goodwill and human kindness toward all. Omen.
We are a grassroot movement that took formation in Georgia penal system in 2006. We are a few, yet many in the struggle, and are joined together as one.
